Remarketing Services, a division of John Deere, operates MachineFinder ( www.machinefinder.com). MachineFinder.com is an equipment locator service that offers access to a large database of used equipment available for sale throughout the US and Canada.

Objective:
Remarketing Services was interested in placing banner ads on the Web to drive more traffic to Machinefinder.com. However, the agriculture industry is considered one of the late adopters of the Internet with only 29% of U.S. farms having Internet access.

Solution:
Remarketing Services worked with Engage to run banner ads on "pure" B2B agriculture Web sites across Engage Business Media, a full service B2B online advertising network. By advertising on Engage Business Media's group of agriculture Web sites, Remarketing Services was able to reach their exact target audience of agricultural professionals on multiple Web sites in a very cost-effective way.

Results:
The campaign has been quite successful - with an average Click-through rate over 1%, Remarketing Services feels confident that their message is reaching the right people.
