Engage delivers enterprise marketing software and consulting services to one of the world’s leaders in imaging and information products

Andover, MA, January 17, 2001 - Engage, Inc. (Nasdaq: ENGA), a leading enterprise marketing software and interactive media company, today announced an expanded relationship with Fuji Photo Film Company, Ltd., under which it is delivering enterprise marketing software solutions and consulting services for a major Fujifilm e-business initiative. Engage is providing Fujifilm with software applications to support the services and tools Fujifilm will provide its printing and publishing customers through its Web site, myfujifilm.com. “Our relationship with Fujifilm is a strong indication of the value our enterprise marketing software can deliver to major corporations looking to move their businesses on to the Internet,” said Tony Nuzzo, president and CEO, Engage. “Through the software solutions and services we are delivering, Fujifilm will be able to provide printing and publishing professionals with new tools for increasing productivity and profitability.”

The myfujifilm.com Web based e-production services provide printers, trade shops, ad agencies, publishers, designers and print producers with the opportunity to stop over-investment in equipment and/or plant expansion, and instead take full advantage of the Internet to increase productivity and profitability. E-production delivered by myfujifilm.com will allow members to take advantage of the web to streamline overall jobs, database and content management, online proofing, digital asset entry, job search routines, file re-purposing and archiving.

Fujifilm is currently utilizing Engage’s enterprise marketing software to automate management of workflow and digital assets. Customers at myfujifilm.com will be able to store digital assets including images, graphics, text, PDF files, sound and digital video and use them to build cross-media, multi-media promotions, marketing and advertising campaigns. These assets can be searched and indexed through a digital asset management system. Engage’s software also will support the approval process by providing collaborative correction and change capabilities of materials in a time and cost efficient manner.

“Fujifilm’s goal in launching myfujifilm.com is to provide a range of high quality, Web based tools that create exciting new opportunities within the printing and publishing industry,” said Tim Combs, vice president of marketing, Fuji Graphic Systems Division. “Taking advantage of Engage’s expertise and solutions, we are building a web site that will provide myfujifilm.com members with a profitable solution to meet the challenges of a competitive market.”

Using the Asset Library feature of myfujifilm.com, members can manage a diverse range of digital assets and projects. Even the smallest companies can now eliminate the need to continually purchase media and hardware to store assets, reliably store digital assets, and take advantage of new business opportunities by extending web-based digital asset management services to their clients.

The comprehensive workflow application makes it easier for companies large and small to profitably perform online e-production with their clients and suppliers. Using a standard Web browser, myfujifilm.com members get access to a true workflow management solution that can reduce costs and increase productivity. For example, a designer can efficiently interact with suppliers, or a printer can automate workflow with clients.
